December 28th 2009	"Santa's Grotto" at the station has been a great success over the 6 days it was open with some 2300 visitors. Santa did a terrific job in getting to his grotto as he had a fair journey in very cold icy conditions.
November 2009	The West Somerset Railway are advertising the post of Station Master to replace Mike & Walter. Applications and C.V.'s are required by January 15th 2010 at Minehead Station.
November 2009	END OF AN ERA After some 34 years as joint Station Masters, Walter Harris and Mike Hodge have decided to retire from the end of January 2010. They have worked tirelessly to take the station from being a weed strewn, vandalised  eyesore, to the delightful award winning station that it is today.
9th June 2009	A very successful Open Day was organised being the 30th Anniversary of the re-opening of the station.
